We were tired of telling our kids to close their eyes while we scrambled for the remote. Now, when a commercial break starts, HedgeBox covers the screen, turns the sound down and starts a family game. When your show comes back, Hedgie gets out of the way.
We love watching live sports together as a family, but not the scary, aggressive and inappropriate commercials. So we built HedgeBox to turn every break into family time.
HedgeBox started in our own living room. We tested it through football Saturdays, late-night ballgames and the evening news, and the breaks became the part the kids looked forward to: a trivia question, a quick game, something to laugh about together. Now we’re making it for families like ours.

A break starts
HedgeBox hears the cut to commercials, covers the screen and turns the sound down, usually within a second.
Family time
Trivia about your team, Hedgie Hop, Would You Rather, or quiet Night Owl mode for late games.
The game's back
Hedgie disappears and the sound comes back. Press BACK if he's slow, or the TV button to call him any time.

A few things every family should know before bringing HedgeBox home.
It works with most channels, not all
Some channels won't play while HedgeBox is on. We test as many as we can and keep the list below up to date.
It could stop working
Streaming services and networks change their apps. One update could keep HedgeBox from working with a service, and we can't control that. We'll fix what we can and tell you plainly when we can't.
It isn't perfect
The first second of a break can show before Hedgie jumps in, and now and then he'll cover the show by mistake. One press of BACK fixes it.
The commercials still play
HedgeBox doesn't skip or remove ads. It covers and mutes them, so the channel still runs its commercial. Your family just doesn't have to watch it.
It comes on its own box
Google's app store doesn't allow apps like HedgeBox, so we set it up for you on a genuine onn 4K Pro. We're not affiliated with onn, Walmart, Google or any streaming service.
It only hears the TV
HedgeBox listens to the TV's own sound, never your room. Nothing is recorded, saved or sent anywhere.
